Description
Mt Wakefield is a grade 1 climb in the Mt Cook range. It is close to the the Hermitage. A good level of fitness is required. We will travel to Mt Cook on Saturday morning and walk into campsite in the afternoon at about 1650m. We will climb Wakefield on Sunday then drive home in the evening. We have been unable to use Unwin Lodge as it is booked out for a wedding for the weekend. Experience with ice axe and crampons is required.
