Description
An afternoon of rock climbing at Cutting Crag. Cutting Crag is one of the warmest crags in Dunedin and has a number of excellent routes ranging in grade from 16 to 21. Climbs are almost exclusively sport climbs.
We'll meet at the usual Tuesday night rock climbing location beside Logan Park at 10:45 am and leave at 11 am. I will have some club ropes and helmets.
We will be accessing the crag from the Mapotahi carpark because
1) It involves less walking on KiwiRail property, and
2) We cleared out the path from the Mapotahi side so there is less gorse

Getting There
We'll meet at the usual Tuesday night rock climbing location beside Logan Park at 10:45 am and carpool from there at 11 am. If you want to meet us at the parking lot, please be at the Mapotahi carpark at 11:30 am.What to Expect

Gear
We'll have some anchors, ropes and helmets. You should bring shoes, harnesses, belay devices, and sport climbing gear.
Remember - helmets are mandatory.
