Description
Fancy a fun social session of indoor climbing to fight off the winter blues!!Meet climbers from the North Otago NZAC section when we join them to climb at their wall in the Waitaki Community Recreation Centre.
Address is 43 Orwell Street, Oamaru and the session is from 5-6:30pm on Thursday 1st August.
Getting There
We will meet at the usual Tuesday climbing carpool spot by Logan Park (on Union Street opposite the teachers college). We will carpool to Oamaru and back. We will need to leave by 4pm as the climbing session runs from 5-6:30pm. We are aiming to be there by 5:30pm for an hour or so of climbing but there is potential to leave early to make it there by 5pm sharp if people are able to meet by 3:30pm. Explore a local indoor climbing wall.There will be top rope or lead climb options available.
A great chance to get out and meet climbers from other parts of Otago.
It is a short session but this means we will be back in Dunedin around 8pm.

Gear
Entry fee includes use of club shoes, harness, ropes and belay device if you need to borrow them. However, it is recommended to bring your own harness, shoes, rope, quick draws, belay device ect. if possible.Registration
