Description
Old Man Range - Ski touring Trip with the objective of Nicholson hut.The tour is easy and requires a moderate level of fitness and off piste ski ability.Getting There

It suits beginners who have had previous touring experience and want to move further away into remote places.

Minimal Gear required is:- ski touring set up
- avalanche kit: digital transceiver, shovel and probe
- lunch and drinks
Avalanche Kits are available for Hire with the NZAC section in Dunedin
and others outlets in Queesntown (Small planet) and Wanaka (MT
Outdoors).
Trip is not suitable for walkers/snow shoes.
